Responsible for providing technical leadership and coordination in respect of parks, reserves and open space planning, land development and management, and asset management planning relating to open space development from growth.I'm the primary contact between the Council and private sector developers to ensure that agreed open space and recreation outcomes are delivered. I lead the teams input into resource and building consent applications and the preparation of applications for the sustainable management of public reserve land in Porirua.

I was responsible for the preparation of environmental work-stream budgets, inputs into business cases and site development strategies, risk assessments, consent and consultation strategies and managing the resource consent process for 200+ projects which included selecting experts and peer reviewing applications.

I was responsible for drafting resource consents for a large number of land use and subdivision consents for developments in Wellington, Hutt Valley, Porirua, Auckland, Napier, Taupo and Nelson. This also involved preparing budgets for projects, mentoring junior staff. I also processed subdivision and land use consents for Wellington City Council and Porirua City Council.
