I am a recent college graduate from Quinnipiac University, studying in The College of Arts and Sciences about mental health, addiction and recovery. During my time there I took multiple sociology, criminal justice and psychology classes, most focusing in, addiction and recovery. These classes helped in my understanding of mental health and addiction issues and will also be useful in a variety of different settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and community organizations. Whether I work directly with patients or in a supportive role, my skills and knowledge will be an asset to any team. During my time at college I supported various program activities, assisting in admirative tasks at my internship at TheWorkPlace in Bridgeport, Ct. My duties included attending meetings and workshops to help reintegrate ex-offenders into the community by providing robust training on the work place to the parolees. I am eager and excited to begin my future and ready to become a strong asset to the right team.
