Julia Durbin is a Mental Health Clinician 1 at Wellness Encompassed. She is proficient in Spanish. Colleagues describe her as "Over the course of the 2021-2022 academic year at Gonzaga, I had the privilege of supervising and advising Julia as she served as one of the Co-Presidents for our Professional Representative (ProRep) program in the Office of Career and Professional Development. Julia helped to lead a team of 18 undergraduate and graduate students who have been trained to provide career coaching to their Gonzaga student peers. From the beginning of her term as Co-President, Julia proved that she is a quick learner with a strong proactive spirit! Her strong attention to detail and her excellent oral & written communication skills allowed her to be tremendously effective as she ran ProRep meetings, organized activities for the ProReps, facilitated presentations, delivered communications to the ProRep team, and worked individually with students needing resume, cover letter, or LinkedIn assistance. She made my job as ProRep advisor very manageable and enjoyable over the last year. I have no doubt that she will serve as a strong asset to any organization and/or graduate program that will accept her. Her adaptability, problem-solving skills, and strong time-management ability will insure that she has a bright future ahead of her as a young professional.
