At the Center for Implementation, our mission is to accelerate the application of implementation science to improve outcomes. We aim to apply implementation science in a way that makes sense to organizations to ensure that their change efforts have a positive impact on the health system. We support organizations and teams that are looking to build capacity in implementation and knowledge translation, embed implementation science in their organizational processes, and/or implement evidence-based practices.

Lead the Team for Implementation, Evaluation and Sustainability (TIES) for the Knowledge Translation (KT) Program at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St. Michael’s Hospital (http://knowledgetranslation.net/). Our objective is to bring research evidence into practice in healthcare to improve patient outcomes. Provide implementation coaching to support organizations implementing research evidence in practiceManage a team of 20 full-time staff, who coordinate over a dozen projects, including peer-reviewed grants and contracts. KT Manager overseeing the development and evaluation of KT strategies for guidelines released by the Public Health Agency’s Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care. Responsible for managing the Mobilization of Vulnerable Elders (MOVEs) project, the largest mobilization intervention in the world. Manage multiple collaborative projects between our team and the World Health Organization (WHO) with the aim of disseminating and implementing evidence-based guidelines in low and middle income countries.KT Unit Lead for the Ontario Drug Policy Research Network (ODPRN), a network of researchers who provide timely, high quality, drug policy relevant research to decision makers

Created a primer, "What is your Implementation Quality (IQ)?" for the Strategic Initiatives and Innovations Directorate to improve the planning, delivery, implementation quality, evaluation, and sustainability of their programsDeveloped online audio-visual training materials, provided training to grantees and government employees and evaluated the primer following it's development
