Specializes in systems level change, using complexity science and systems thinking principles.

Implementation specialist at the Knowledge Translation Program. Supported health care organizations to design, implement and evaluate programs at organization, community, national and international levels.

Coordinated Knowledge Translation studies conducted with the Team in Children's Pain. Examined multi-site implementation of pain management techniques. Conducted four systematic reviews on neonatal and children's pain management, and developed dissemination strategies targeted to specific health care end users.

Supported the adaptation and implementation of an evidence-based workplace smoking cessation program, tailored to young adults in retail settings. A sub-project of this implementation practice initiative was a research component to understand the utility of Intervention Mapping as a method for planning public health programs.

Collaborated with the principal investigator in qualitative and quantitative research pertaining to diabetes self-management practices and services, with a specific focus on gender, ethnicity, and diabetes education populations with type 2 diabetes.
