I was a podiatrist for 40 years, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine . I have a Certificate in Education, which I have used to teach and train Adult Learners in Counselling and Counselling Skills. My own Diploma in Advanced Counselling and Groupwork has been an advantage both in my years as a Podiatrist, a Teacher and now a Celebrant. I have been self-employed for many years and continue to work as a qualified Celebrant, with a National Open College Network Certificate, Level 3 in Civil Celebrancy. I use my transferable skills in my current work as a Celebrant and have the opportunity to use my creative writing skills with individuals for funerals, weddings and vow renewal services. I am a good communicator and can deliver scripts and eulogies and use my knowledge with a wider audience as required. As a podiatrist I worked in a clinical environment on a one to one basis, making clinical decisions, in a personal trustworthy environment.I live and work near Worksop, Nottinghamshire, close to the A57, which gives me direct access to South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, West Yorkshire and Derbyshire. I write funeral services for people who want to create and arrange their own ceremonies in advance - and work with Service Providers writing and delivering funeral services for the bereaved in Crematoriums .
