I'd worked on the side as a tennis coach for a year, increasing a local junior tennis programme by 50%, I set up a business after the first lockdown to offer tennis with no expensive membership fees. I regularly produced items for this top British radio programme including online too. Although Woman’s Hour also covers cultural stories, I was tasked with producing leading current events’ and news stories. *I left to work closer to home.

I was responsible for set up, research and briefing the output producer and presenter in advance of the show. Evening music based show which was number 1 in the marketplace for that daypart. Audience figures improved steadily while I was on air, as they did for the whole station.

Revamped the marketing to groups resulting in exceptional growth in demand the following year. Key areas of improvement were in digital marketing (essentially SEO) and database management. Originally this was a maternity cover contract but following a restructure, I was asked to apply to run group marketing for the RHS as a whole. However, I had another offer as a Marketing Manager at a company that intrigued me.

Here is really where I cut my teeth. I learnt how to build multi-tooled marketing campaigns. However, the key tools used here were brand management, tendering activities, events and the production and management of communications both external and internal.I started as a Marketing Co-ordinator, then became a Regional Marketing Executive.

I started as a temporary member of staff then I was offered a full time role working in a customer services role advising users on a real-time stocks and shares product which used specific terminals. Finally I worked as a Marketing Assistant for 1.5 years.
