Julia Spellman Email and Phone Number

Hi! My name is Julia Spellman.I am an animation major at DePaul University's College of Computing and Digital Media. I am currently a senior pursuing a BFA, concentrating in Storyboarding & Character Design. ​Most recently, I was selected for two amazing programs at DePaul: Nickelodeon Storyboarding Class and Study Abroad Japan for animation. In both programs, I was a chosen applicant in a big pool of students. In my Nickelodeon class, I got to work closely with industry professionals and learn the process of storyboarding for SpongeBob Squarepants. I got to create my own boards for a sample episode and received weekly feedback from Nickelodeon directors. For Study Abroad Japan, I got to explore the impacts of animation on Japanese culture and visited several animation studios where I got to meet with experienced artists and learn about their work. Additionally, my study group collaborated with animation students at Nagoya University of Arts and Sciences to create a short animated project.At school, I am a great team member and collaborator. I often thrive when I can work on large projects with my fellow artists. I also love creating new stuff, which I frequently share on my Instagram.
