I am an interior designer with over 20 years experience… more if you count my many childhood bedroom makeovers. After working around Europe (mostly London), I returned to Brisbane and started my own company, Bearspace. I am passionate about redefining corporate spaces by bringing in creativity, a sense of fun and a focus on the workers wellbeing and enjoyment of the work space. Projects I want to work on and why…1. More corporate lobbies. Lobbies are like business cards to buildings. The first impression always counts. I love to have the opportunity to define the personality of the building through the lobby…. where the space becomes an art installation as well as a working space. 3. I would also love to add hotels to Bearspace’s repertoire. I worked on hotels and cruise liners when I was in the London for 15 years. From guest room roll outs to restaurants, lobbies and spas — having so many spaces and so many concepts to develop is a playground for designers.
