I am raising philanthropic support for the UVA School of Education and Human Development. I work with alumni, parents, and friends of UVA to identify their philanthropic interest and match it with the University's current priorities and needs.

I managed and executed the Alzheimer's Association two primary fundraising events for the Central and Western Virginia Chapter. I worked with a volunteer committee that coordinated the Charlottesville Walk to End Alzheimer's and connected with volunteers across central and western Virginia to raise funds for the Longest Day. Through my leadership, the two events raised $637,000 in 2 years; a $436,000 increase since the start of my tenure.

The Arbor Charlottesville was a safe house for survivors of human trafficking. In my role as Operations Coordinator and eventually Operation Manager, I oversaw the day to day activity and needs of the organization. I worked with our Executive Director in managing our accounts payable and accounts receivable and helped the Social Worker on staff handle the day to day needs of the house and clients. Additionally due to a financial decision from the Board of Trustees, I also assisted the Executive Director with the closure of the house, the graduating of the clients from the program, and the closure of the non-profit.

MCAM is a finance consulting firm that specializes in intellectual property such as patents, trademarks, and copywrites. As an analyst, I assisted with the research of patents for the firm's reports of valuations and helped with the relationship management side of the contracts. Additionally, I assisted in the firm's internship program which included international trips documenting indigenous traditions for the purpose of preserving and protecting the intellectual property for the owner's use. Towards the end of my time with MCAM I also took on the role of handling several HR elements specifically related to employee benefits and office environment.
