Served as a receptionist in a hostel, helping guests check in and out, taking payments and deposits, accepting parcels and monitoring the company email and phone for additional queries. Also served as a barista and bartender in the hostel, making coffees and other drinks for the guests. I regularly opened and closed the building, which involved: locking and unlocking the doors to the building, cleaning surfaces, cashing out the till, cleaning, setting up and turning on/off equipment. I generally worked lone shifts, where I was always the only receptionist and sometimes the only staff member on the premises.

Moderated class discussion in weekly AIR Psychology in Ten Weeks sessions in the fall of 2023, interacting with the students who joined remotely and connecting them with the students who were on site. Was also involved in setting up and taking down all of the equipment needed for a hybrid class and the refreshments provided for the students on site.

Scheduled weekly meetings, contacted guest speakers, and put together shared notes on Microsoft OneDrive and our university’s website.
