Created outreach programs in collaboration with the Advisory Council on Transition-Age Youth; CareerLinks (DOL One Stop Centers); School District of Philadelphia, PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation; and Pennsylvania Office of Development Programs. • Presented the public face for the Program to: radio, television, journals. • Keynote speaker 2006 and 2007 Montgomery County IU Transition Night. • Presenter; ‘Speaking for Ourselves’ statewide conferences, and other outlets. • Provided outreach, training and one-on-one benefits planning to individuals on SSI and/or SSDI concerning the impact of receiving wages on Social Security benefits, Section 08 housing, and Medicare/Medicaid. Counseled individuals on work incentives. • Provided service to over 1100 individuals in six years and a half years. • Developed audio-visual presentation compact disk highlighting SSI and work incentives for Transition Aged Youth, with over 2000 copies distributed for the benefit of teachers, students and families.
