Conducted federally funded research, often for the U.S. Department of Defense, to aid national security.­ Analyzed airspace characterizations as a means to integrate unmanned military aircraft into civilian airspace operations. Received and parsed sensor data from five sites, distinguished separate aircraft tracks, and generated plots of data (color coded or filtered) by velocity, altitude, aircraft type, and other meaningful metrics.­ Examined cost-benefit of proposed aviation policies by studying their effects on the environment, i.e. climate, air, and noise quality. Ran impact models, interpreted output, and managed sizable data base inventories. Presented analysis results to sponsors at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
