The 2013-14 and the 2014-15 school years I created the 7th grade curriculum and taught earth and space science two times a week. I was the only 7th grade science teacher in mastery's vast network at the time. Over the 2015-2021 school years, I have taught the FOSS curriculum for science. Topics I have taught from this curriculum include Earth History, Chemical Interactions, Populations and Ecosystems, and Gravity and Kinetic Energy. In 2020 I also started a Forensic Science class that was never previously offered for 9th graders at the school.In 2021 I started an Astronomy class that was never previously offered for the 10th graders at the school.

Content lead for 6th and 7th grade teachers in the Mastery Network. Includes running content meetings and professional developments.

Summer intensive training to prepare for a career in teaching. This included one month of teaching summer school.

Duties involved assisting the technical and administrative staff with project-related work.

Worked with school and camp groups helping to implicate different educational programs about river ecology, water quality, and lead environmental tours of the park and Hudson River natural history lessons to over 150 urban youth school and camp programs. Duties also included catch and release fishing at piers 46, 64, and 84 in NYC, and field games.

Worked as a camp counselor supervising a bunk of 18 girls age 8. Bunk responsibilities included general supervision during meal and bunk time, and during camp events. Daytime responsibility included working with all age groups at both the boy’s and girl’s camp teaching the skills required to complete the camp’s challenging high ropes course.
