As President of the Brown Alt Protein Project, I lead efforts to advance knowledge and foster dialogue around alternative proteins and sustainable food systems. I plan and execute diverse initiatives such as lectures, panel discussions, food tastings, and lab visits, while building collaborations with leading scientists to drive innovation. I believe these efforts are key to inspiring and educating students, faculty, and the broader community about the future of food.

For the first edition of the Food 4 Thought Festival in April 2024, I led the organization of the Cultivated Meat panel, contributing to overall event fundraising and international outreach by engaging with alternative protein leaders in Brazil. On the day of the event, I supported on-site logistics and moderated the CM panel discussion, fostering dialogue on innovative protein solutions. Currently, I'm dedicating efforts to establish a national hub for Food4Thought in Brazil, expanding the organization's impact.

As a summer intern in the Wolfson Department of Chemical Engineering at the Technion, I'm working in Professor's Alon Grinberg Dana laboratory under the guidance of graduate student Lilach Naamat. My project focuses on investigating hydroxide-water structures in low hydration levels with BTMA kinetics.

As an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Colvin's laboratory I practiced bacterial culture and sterile technique as well as general lab upkeep (autoclave, and agar plate preparation) by working with bioengineered bacteria in a project that aimed to use the bacteria as living filters to bioaccumulate arsenic in contaminated water.

In High School, I developed a research project with kombucha textiles, a type of fabric that is made using the bacteria and yeast cultures used in the fermentation process of kombucha tea. Me and my group wrote a scientific paper and prepared a presentation to discuss our findings. The main goal was exploring alternative textiles to make the Fashion Industry more sustainable.
