CurrentWhile working here, my key functions include strategizing and implementing a wide range of health and welfare programs across multiple locations in all of North America by staying abreast with all federal, state, and city laws. I also direct various locations, including Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Austin, New York, and Boston, as well as many remote employees. Furthermore, I Travel to all the locations extensively and meet with employees for Open Enrollment and benefits training. In addition to this, I design, evaluate, and modify benefit policies to ensure compliance and competitiveness. Moreover, I conduct in-person meetings to ensure employee understanding of benefits and support.Key Accomplishments: • Fulfilled reporting requirements of relevant government rules and regulations, including the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and Health Care Reform. •Optimized service delivery by conducting audits of benefit programs and agreements, performing market research, and supervising the Annual Benefits Survey. •Streamlined Leave of Absence and moved to advise to pay (ATP), achieving exceptional annual savings. •Mentored and trained team members to oversee benefits independently, resulting in increased efficiency and capacity. •Achieved 100% score on Human Rights Campaign for four consecutive years and managed a successful wellness program with initiatives reaching 85%+ participation via implementation of best practices. •Provided exceptional support for the company's move to self-insured medical plans (medical, dental, and STD), resulting in cost savings and improved service delivery.
