Appointed as Director across the 2 MUFG Jersey companies and client structures, performing as principal contact for the largest client, representing multi-million-dollar revenue, which has grown organically by 50% since 2016. I am responsible for reviewing deliverables to ensure utilisation and the elimination of unnecessary tasks to enable the enhancement of current service levels and allow delivery beyond client expectations. This comprises adherence and implementation of risk policies, control procedures and monitoring operational risk. As part of my remit, I managed the take-on of new business, supporting the Business Development team to create propositions, inclusive of facilitation of new business installations and management of all phases, ensuring timely and accurate completion. In addition, I lead development, coaching and succession planning, including the completion of performance reviews and individual development plans. This incorporated developing management and technical skills of managers and the recruitment of new staff.

In this role, I led commercial management and financial accounting, producing multi-currency consolidation financial reporting, including IFRS, US & UK GAAP. I structured debt, new business and changes to structures, in addition to commercial transaction structures. I provided VAT, tax, analytical services and implemented new processes and procedures to uphold better methods of working and best practice, in alignment with both internal and external requirements and regulations. As a senior member of the team, I controlled the department from a budgetary perspective ensuring service quality and the meeting of targets. Additionally, I supported the development of others through continued mentorship in order for them to widen their skills set and achieve professional qualifications.
