Responsible for accelerating $2B Telco business inclusive of software, services, hardware and custom IP by by aligning global sales, channel and product teams on go-to-market strategy. Directed all cross-functional marketing activity including Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Primary Research, Industry Standards Marketing, Field Enablement, Partner Marketing, Media Relations and Analyst Relations. Managed key industry relationships including GSMA. Led Telco joint-go-to-market activities with Intel. Helped move the network functions virtualization technology out of HPE labs and into commercial viability. Built competitive team who delivered HPE and industry “firsts.” Led team of 15 and budget of $11M.

Led BeVocal Communications through acquisition by Nuance. Was responsible for positioning BeVocal's voice-enabled self-service activation platform for prepaid phones with customers including Cingular Go. Led primary research (working with The Yankee Group) on both consumer and enterprise readiness for voice biometrics. Developed creative for 6-part advertising campaign with Forbes focused on key themes including how a "Call Center can be a Profit Center."

Led creative to help industry envision mobile data experiences at a time when mobile only included voice capabilities. Positioned data capability as way for operators to address operator concerns for declining revenue. Directed a series of global focus groups to support product definition while enabling direct dialog between sales and the carrier customer.

Acquired by Sun Microsystems. Pixo's development environment was selected to help power the original iPod. Apple paid a lump sum to license some of Pixo's software; Sun later acquired the company Led marketing program to increase handset manufacturer awareness of application development for mobile devices using Java. Increased awareness of Pixo capabilities led to acquisition by Sun.

Led company through merger with BigVine.com. Managed all aspects of barter (bigvine.com) exchange internal and external communications. Managed bigvine.com (backed by Kleiner Perkins) and allbusiness.com merger communications. Recipient of P.R.S.A. dot com launch of the year award; developed identity and positioning of the online barter exchange; prepared board presentations (board included William Hearst III, Vinod Khosla); managed VIP visits for national and foreign dignitaries including U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein and the Prince of Qatar.

Managed a variety accounts including Adobe, General Magic, Novell and RealNetworks. Managed PR efforts for Serengeti (digital assistant), PhotoShop, NetWare, RealPlayer and RealJukebox. Also worked on team supporting emerging internet businesses including AllBusiness.com. (formerly BigVine.com)

Consulted - then joined the firm's Palo Alto Center for Strategic Technology (CST) team. Responsible for the introduction of firm to Silicon Valley companies and management of the Executive Workshops involving global Fortune 100 companies. Was responsible for the "build out" of the new Customer Briefing Center within the CST as well as executive prep for workshops themselves.

Account manager (media relations) for Andersen Consulting, Ameritech. Supported public relations initiatives for NEC Technologies, United Airlines, McDonalds accounts. Launched industry's first "home" voicemail for Ameritech.
