Managing and co-ordinating employability initiatives for the College of Social Sciences and International Studies. From September 2017, also responsible for Student Engagement.

I work in the College of Social Sciences and International Studies improving student employability skills through work placements, internships, workshops and networking events.

I established a varied programme of volunteer opportunties for the RAMM and successfully achieved the Investing in Volunteering award from Volunteer England - the first museum in SW England to do so. Other highlights include, setting up museum guided tours and handling tables, putting on a volunteering exhibition, which included the production of a DVD, and organising a number of volunteer events and special projects.

I worked in the Education and Training Group and the Events Management Team. Based in the UK, I worked on conferences, providing information to overseas students on studying in the UK, and general information about European programmes for schools and teachers.

My role was within the Housing Benefits and Council Tax department where I would deal with a range of written, face to face and phone enquiries including taking Council Tax payments, verifying documents and other administrative duties to support Housing Benefits assessors.
