“I was a patient of Dr. Pickard’s,” says Fort Smith [Northside] native, Julia Rose. Her new smile made her feel good and look great, so when she was offered a position on our team, Julia gladly accepted! That was five years ago, and during that time she has found “her place” with the Fort Smith Team. Happily married for six years, Julia is mom to nine year old stepdaughter Kaitlyn, four year old Landon and one year old Daxton. Her life centers on her family and she is always busy with T-Ball, gymnastics and playing outside and all the activities young children love. “I love [my children] and have been blessed with them. They are wonderful,” she says. Julia enjoys watching movies and going shopping. Grey’s Anatomy is her favorite television show and she also likes watching baseball or bike riding whenever time permits. Shogun is her “hands down” favorite restaurant. “I like being myself,” Julia concludes, “ but I’d like to travel around the world some day.” Nevertheless, if she won the lottery, travel wouldn’t be her first choice. “I would invest most of it but take a couple of thousand and go SHOPPING!” “Getting to see the kids when they get their braces off” is the most rewarding aspect of Julia’s job. “They are so excited about their smiles,” she declares. The Fort Smith team is great and “Dr. Jang is very good. He is always willing to answer your questions and willing to help. He explains everything very well,” she concludes.
