Netcare 911 is a pre-hospital risk management and emergency assistance subsidiary of Network Healthcare Holdings Ltd (Netcare), which operates and manages the largest hospital, private ambulance service and doctor network in the world. Duties included:• Counselling individuals and families going through trauma (or other challenges).• Crisis and trauma support for companies which often includes working with groups of people going through trauma such as armed robberies or retrenchment. • Immediate 24/7 counselling support for people in crisis, for example individuals who are suicidal.• Assessment and referral of clients to the right place of help.• Various administrative duties such as accurate record keeping.

Stellenbosch Care was founded by me at the beginning of 2015. I ran an intensive outpatient program for individuals suffering from drug and alcohol dependency following the matrix model of treatment. Furthermore I also did general counselling helping people with a variety of challenges. I worked as a counsellor in a multidisciplinary team of professionals helping clients with their addiction problems as well as other issues such as anger and stress management and past trauma.
