Running the busy Carpet Department within the store.My role is to :* Advise customers of the best products to suit their needs and recommending suitable accessories. • Regularly achieving and exceeding weekly sales targets • Arrange fittings. • Providing high levels of customer service and ensuring that all sales orders are followed through • Order stock for store sales. Administration of the full department which includes : • Booking in stock. • Stock control. • Liase with fitters and fitting dept. • File all relevant paperwork .Deal with any complaints that will arise.

Throughout my 11 years I progressed from Trainee Manager to Branch Manager. I ran various branches within the company including a period as an administration clerk.I was responsible for motivating and training the staff, coaching them and disciplining them when required. I held interviews to employ new recruits. I did back to work interviews . I was responsible for the branches achieving targets and KPI's. I held regular meetings and training sessions. I was responsible for the store stock and making sure that there were no discrepancies and if so had to investigate as to why.I worked for six months in the office and this was a position that I thrived on.
