I am passionate about teaching English Language Learners. It is crucial to me that these learners are taught with curriculum that lines up to the state standards and the skills they will need to be successful in life, especially academically. What I do in the classroom determines the quality of their life in the future and I take that responsibility very seriously. These learners come to us with many challenges but overall are extremely determined to succeed despite great odds. I consider it an honor to be their teacher and cultural guide, following their progress throughout their lives. I feel fortunate to have found my purpose in life!
