• Lead corporate harmonization effort to ensure consistency across all sites and drive cGMP compliance by harmonizing electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) templates for all microbiology methods. • Act as IDBS E-Workbook ELN subject matter expert for the microbiology department. Create and revise existing ELN templates to reduce errors and increase overall efficiency. • Actively participate in potential job candidate interview, hiring and on-boarding processes. Train new employees on critical systems such as ELN and sample management programs. • Perform microbial limits testing, including total aerobic microbial count (TAMC), total yeast and mold count (TYMC) and absence of specified organisms, on solid dose non-sterile API, excipients, and finished drug products.

• Acted as microbiology lead and subject matter expert on One2One and Hospira project teams. Routinely interfaced with all levels of personnel across the Hospira organization, as well as One2One customers, and provided microbiological expertise from drug product clinical stages to commercialization. • Led the Science & Technology Day team and acted as the McPherson site representative in the global S&T Day committee. Collaborated with the plant leadership team, as well as leaders in the R&D organization to help celebrate and promote the site’s scientific excellence. • Actively participated and /or led Corporate initiatives in support of the Center Of Excellence (COE) Microbiology group.• Wrote and executed scientific protocols, generated data, performed technical reviews of data, and wrote scientific reports.• Coordinated drafting and reviewing of technical reports from R&D and Manufacturing Quality labs in support of regulatory submissions.

• Initiated and authored BQ Microbiology exception documents in the Trackwise exception reporting system, and change control requests regarding updates to raw material and pre-sterilization bioburden routine test methods.• Execute microbial and dye ingress container closure challenges.
