Nail Technician

• Ensuring that there are adequate first aiders and fire marshals across all sites by conducting and arranging training• Ensuring that all staff are properly trained to carry out the duties within working at height or manual handling • Coordinate and manage the operation of annual regulatory building risk assessments such as general Health and Safety, Fire, Asbestos and Legionella• Completion of task-based risk assessments within the company’s main departmental activities and educate relevant personnel on safe ways of working• Assisting the HR Team on tours of the office and new starter inductions• Completion of weekly floor walks across the head office and bi-monthly at other sites• Management of internal workplace communications in relation to Health and Safety such as notice boards, emails and internal social media• Attend project meetings to ensure Health and Safety issues are managed effectively and the reviewing of project-based risk assessments are signed off in a timely manner• Dealing with daily business as usual enquires relating to Health and Safety and Facilities• Complete investigations in to any accidents/incidents that occur on site

• Ensure that NET-A-PORTER levels of quality are maintained at all times through staff induction, training and regularly monitoring• Ensure that all staff are properly trained to carry out the duties assigned to them by conducting one to one training sessions, workshops and regular performance reviews• Monitor the performance of staff in my team and manage issues such as conduct and attendance promptly and professionally• Producing manuals, process maps and sign offs on an array of Microsoft programs for all processes within the distribution department to ensure all staff understand the procedure and are correctly signed off• Build training programmes targeted for underperforming staff to coach and nurture for better performance• Create personal development plans for myself and for the rest of the team and help coach them to achieved their desired goals• Organise training events and workshops for different departments to help them gain an understanding to support the wider business
