After my family moved to St. Jacobs so my husband could accept the position of a finance professor at the University of Waterloo, I decided to open my own accounting firm out of my home. As a Certified General Accountant (CGA), I am a “one-stop” shop for most of my clients as I provide full-cycle services to my clients from corporate yearends and tax returns to personal income taxes and daily bookkeeping.Since my office is in my home just inside St. Jacobs, it allows me to meet with some of my clients outside of regular business hours or to meet at the farms of some of my mennonite clients. I offer services to my clients in St. Jacobs, Kitchener, Waterloo, Elmira and surrounding area.

Returned to the work force here after my first child and only left as we moved out of province.

Provided financial advice on government contracts. I left this position as I decided I was not to be a government employee and that I enjoyed public practice more.

Enjoyed working in public practice for this great firm but left when I went on maternity leave.

I was one owner out of 8 who ran a large forestry consulting company that employed up to 400 seasonal staff and 50 full timers.
