Plan, Develop, implement and oversee ministry programs for children, youth and adults with special needs and their families to assist them in connecting, serving and transforming their life in Christ. Specific duties include: recruiting, training and maintaining volunteers to teach and aide children and adults who have developmental disabilities including but not limited to autism, down syndrome, sensory integration, dysfunction and severe emotional disturbances; curriculum writing and implantation; crisis intervention and counseling for parents and individuals who struggle with the issues of disability; volunteer coordination; providing on-going support and counseling for parents who have children with special needs; planning and implementing respite days for parents who have children with special needs; providing guidance and foundation for parent support group; coordinating with local community agencies to provide education and training in the areas of estate planning, guardianship/legal conservator, advocacy, IEP (Individual Education Plan) training and preparation, and other topics of importance for parents of children with special needs; developed opportunities for parents to connect and mentor each other; peer modeling and reverse mainstreaming for children, premarital and marriage counseling. Planning and Implementing Special Needs Awareness Sundays and creating awareness on an ongoing basis for the church body. Additional Areas of oversight: Ministry Safe Implementation and oversight, Children’s Outreach Events. Oversight of Undergrad and graduate level students receiving internship hours for their degree, PazNaz Wheelchair Children's Basketball. Developed the theme and organized ministry fair for all PazNaz Ministries.Lead Hospitality Ministries providing vision, leadership, training and implementation to ushers, greeters, welcome center, golf carts and other areas that fall under Hospitality.

Conducted Independent Living Assessments to assist with the proper living placement of teens and individuals with developmental disabilities.Worked in conjunction with local Housing Authorities to secure aftercare vouchers and appropriate housing for consumers.Developed housing with non-profit and low income housing developers along with the private sector.Worked alongside Community Support Facilitators to develop contingency plans for consumers facing critical issues in the near future.Developed and conducted training for consumers in the areas of Friendship Building, Setting Boundaries, Knowing safe people and basic cooking and kitchen safety skills.Conducted training sessions for Community Support Facilitators to better equip them to serve their consumers; specific training included: grief counseling, relationship building; purpose and benefits of psychological testing and how to interpret various tests; specific facts on autism and how to work with individuals affected by autismWrote and implemented Eagle’s Wings an inhome transition program for teens and young adults to prepare them for leaving home.
