An entertainment industry veteran, Julie has extensive knowledge in the international film and television marketplace, including worldwide sales and distribution, bank financing, production, and marketing. Current role COO & President of Worldwide Distribution: First employee hired to build sales and film production company AMBI Distribution for European founders Lady Monika Bacardi and Andrea Iervolino. Leads AMBI team in recruiting, hiring and managing all aspects of sales, distribution and marketing. Oversee productions, financing, acquisitions and delivery of over 40 independent feature films. Key role in evaluating $30M acquisition of Exclusive Media library of over 400 films in 2015. Manage the day to day activities of AMBI Distribution and AMBI Exclusive and direct report to Board Members.Julie was previously President of International Sales for Peace Arch Entertainment Group, where she worked with SONY and SHOWTIME on the acclaimed series THE TUDORS and was responsible for licensing a 500+ library of films overseas. Prior to joining Peace Arch Julie was Senior Vice President of Lakeshore Entertainment Group, where she launched a number of $100M+ grossing films, including UNDERWORLD 1 & 2, and 4 time Academy Award winner MILLION DOLLAR BABY. Julie also oversaw international sales of Lakeshore's film library of over 600 films.Prior to Lakeshore Julie was Director of International Sales for NBC, where she focused on series, mini series, TV movies and special events. Before joining NBC Julie worked at Playboy Entertainment Group, as Director of International Distribution handling sales in both Pay TV and DVD divisions. Julie began her career in entertainment at a Paris production company after graduating from State University of New York in 1990. She holds a B.A. in Communications and is a Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
