Named after that iconic character in Romeo and Juliet, my parents instilled a love of story in me. From that love, I have continued telling stories, through dance, acting, writing, directing, and choreographing. I am a now soon-to-be-graduate of Pepperdine University with a BA in Theatre Arts and a double minor in Creative Writing and Great Books. I aspire to tell the stories of those who are not heard, like the experiences of my queer friends and of my own experience as a bisexual, gender non-conforming woman. Having lost my mother at the age of 18, I want to make stories that help us heal.My classical theatre training at Pepperdine University includes the study of Shakespeare, Linklater, Laban, dance, and vocal technique, combined with courses in directing, playwriting, literature, and technical design: my favorite theatrical projects have included serving as Assistant Director for A Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Stage Manager/Choreographer for Dance in Flight: Symbiosis, and the role of Ellen with the Pepperdine Scotland Company in the premiere production of Americana: A Murder Ballad at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A Regents Scholar at Pepperdine, I am also a highly academic person; I bring this hard-working, adaptive skillset to my work as the Executive Assistant to Victoria Morris at Lexikat Artists. With my work in performance and technical theatre, creative and academic thinking, I am uniquely positioned to create theatre and film from a holistic artistic perspective. Throughout my journey, I have become a multi-faceted, empathetic, and passionate individual. I am continuing to find my path within the entertainment industry, but I promise to always bring my ethos of telling empathetic stories that allow us to laugh amidst our pain to whatever work I am doing.
