I am a fully accredited Registered Nutritional Therapist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Medicine from The University of West London. As a strong proponent of the Functional Medicine approach to health management, I look at the underlying mechanisms of disease and target the root causes in order to support the body back to optimum health. My clinic is based in Clavering, Essex and I service the whole of the United Kingdom as well as international clients via remote consultations.My areas of expertise include digestive health and food sensitivities (incorporating coeliac and non-coeliac gluten sensitivity), women’s health issues including hormonal disorders and thyroid disease and fatigue disorders.The athletic ambitions of my two children have provided ample first-hand knowledge and experience of the value of nutrition in supporting and enhancing sporting performance. This has been underpinned by completion of a Personalised Sports Nutrition course provided by The Centre for Nutrition and Lifestyle Management (CNELM) and validated by Middlesex University.In my previous life I was a degree-qualified linguist with fluency in French, German and Spanish as well as my native language English. As European Key Account Manager, I traveled extensively in Europe representing the commercial interests of a multinational motor vehicles’ accessory manufacturer. This experience gave me a huge insight into the health challenges of a stressful professional lifestyle.
