Julie is an experienced leader, founder and start up director in the education, healthcare, arts & cultural sectors, with a strong background in non – profits. Keen interest in professional & self development, and social justice. A natural collaborator, she is entrepreneurially minded and socially engaged, with an in-depth understanding of initiating and growing new projects for WCSI. She is skilled in innovation, budgets, event management, and volunteer training with a focus on creating and delivering projects and strategies to build greater creative and social capital – skills which will help to ensure Watson’s Caring Science Theory and the 10 Caritas Processes live on in perpetuity.As Managing Editor of the newly established WCSI imprint Lotus Library – in less than 4 year she worked with Jean and over 230 Nurse authors, publishing ten books in 3 languages showcasing a humanitarian, human science orientation to Watson's caring processes and phenomena, often overlooked and invisible (women's work).
