At Ologie, I was responsible for business development, the startup of projects, and their positioning in the marketplace. I responded to right-fit RFPs, built high-level proposals to respond to the needs of each prospect, and supported the pitch teams and process of securing and onboarding major clients. Ologie is a branding agency that moves people to take action, to make smart decisions about things that matter: Choosing the right college, engaging with important philanthropic initiatives, determining how to save for retirement, spending today's money wisely. We help our clients share their authentic story and find their true voice. I dreamt and strategized with others to start Freedom a la Cart, a nonprofit social enterprise designed to actively and directly meet the needs of survivors of Human Trafficking, offering a new support network and economic self-sufficiency through safe, sheltered employment. Freedom a la Cart facilitated true life change for 300+ survivors of human trafficking within the first 3 years of its inception. I successfully led all strategic vision, fundraising, grant-writing, business partnership, and revenue-building efforts with a $10,000 investment from The Women's Fund of Central Ohio and a handful of small donors. In 2014, after 3 years of operations, I handed off a thriving organization with a near $600,000 revenue stream to a committed board, a robust team of highly skilled employees, and a strategic path for economic self-sufficiency for our employees.
