InterConnection bridges the digital divide and protects our environment by providing free and affordable computers and internet access to community members and through sustainable e-waste recycling, refurbishment, and reuse. Our team refurbishes high quality laptops and other devices to extend the useful life of the machines and directs electronics waste to responsible recycling partners.

Prior to loss of funding requiring Pond's wind-down, wore the many hats of a startup team member during a period of fast paced growth on a small, fully remote national team. Built out processes and plans to provide a space for nonprofit leaders to seek solutions and resources (software, consultants, etc). Translated the needs of nonprofit leaders to business offerings. Collaborated with internal and external team members (Finance, Technology, and Marketing) to establish operational structures, financial reporting, and compliance processes.

After leading an organization through transformational growth and cultural change, took a break to spend time with family and friends.

Alongside an incredible partner, spearheaded the shift to becoming an anti-racist organization. Guided a talented, racially diverse team to create and launch an innovative program that centers families of color. Inspired team to take a pilot idea with a handful of families in 2015 and develop it into an impactful, nationally recognized program that served over 4500 families across the state of Washington during the 2020-21 school year. Despite a period of significant change in mission and messaging, doubled revenues from $800K to $1.6M by including donors and funders in our change process. Promoted from entry-level sales to leadership positions throughout the organization. Joined during org’s early startup days. Experience includes leading sales teams; managing marketing and sales efforts across multiple product lines and industries; developing pricing, channel and market strategies. As Marketing Manager, managed over 20 product lines and grew annual sales from $4M to over $50M. Built and maintained key supplier relationships within the Food, Pharma, and Chemical Formulating Industries. Developed joint marketing strategies with leaders at major producers (Dow, BASF, ADM, etc). Coordinated business entry into EU market.

Promoted to sales and then purchasing after beginning career as a process engineer in a chemical plant outside of Mobile, AL.
