Developed and implemented financial and taxes planning, cash flow management, banking relations management, hired all the insurance policies, managed the budget development, defining the basic and macroeconomic premises, supported the Commercial and Logistics areas, consolidated the managerial accounting statements (IRFS/US GAAP/FASB), and was in charge of the External Audit firm.I worked to recover and compensate the taxes of the company, resulting a salve of R$ 1.200.000,00 in Federal Taxes (PIS and Cofins). Established the legal entities in Mexico and Colombia. Project leader to create and developed the bonded warehouse in Brazil, resulting an increase of 15% of sales for agency division. Implemented a financial system to process the financial dates, SPED (Fiscal and Accounting) and electronic payments (Pay link systems), designed and implemented credit and collection polices, reducing the credit risk.

Reporting to the Brazilian CFO, was responsible for the Controllership, Financial Planning and Analysis, Costs, Accounting and Taxes areas, managing a group of 35 professionals. Developed and implemented financial planning, manages the Budget development, defining the basic and macroeconomic premises, supports the Trade, Publishing and Production areas, consolidated the managerial accounting statements (FASB/US GAAP), and is in charge of the External Audit firm. Implemented computer-based programs for processing financial and budgetary data. Restructured the accounting system, allowing for the determination of the net income, per sales channel and per market segment.

Reporting to the Finance Director for Latin America, was responsible for the Consolidation and Controllership areas of the operations taken where 3Com holds subsidiaries in Latin America (Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia and Peru), supervising the Controllers of these countries.Monitored and consolidated the Budget, analyzing and detailing the differences between the Budget and the actual figures, consolidated the managerial accounting statements in US$ (FASB/US GAAP), and managed the Internal Audit activities. Coordinated the procedures for the closing of the financial and accounting activities, keeping the internal Managerial Control updated for the release of results per country and per business unit. Developed and implemented an integrated financial system (Sun Systems), cutting down the fiscal closing period in 3 workdays. Responsible for the Controllership, Accounting and Taxation areas of the Brazilian operations. Established and structured the Taxation and Accounting Department with internal financial, accounting and tax operations, and determined and accounted direct and indirect taxes, as well as coordinated Payroll activities and related duties. Corrected the classification of services provided abroad, resulting in a 25% cost-reduction in taxes. Designed and implemented internal control procedures and policies, cutting down monthly expenditures by 15%.
