Julio is a highly experienced and skilled professional with a background in leadership, public management, finance, and economics. He holds degrees in Leadership and Public Management from Centro de Liderança Pública and in Finance and Economics from FGV-SP. Julio is also currently pursuing an Executive MBA with triple-crown accreditation, focusing on enhancing his strategic, holistic leadership skills and decision-making abilities.Julio has over a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector, where he has held various leadership roles. He has coordinated online courses for young social entrepreneurs at the NGO Youth Action for Change and has worked in various roles at the NGO TECHO, including coordinating digital communications and institutional development. As the National Social Director at TECHO, Julio led initiatives on volunteering and emergency housing programs, resulting in the construction of over 2,000 transitory houses.As of June 2021, Julio is the Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Instituto Eurofarma. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Manager for 3 and a half years at Instituto Cacau Show, a nonprofit recognized by GPTW as the 8th best nonprofit to work in Brazil. In this role, he oversaw the organization's growth by 350% in the number of students served and initiated actions to improve public education in the city.Julio has also held senior positions in the private sector. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at TriCiclosB, where he was responsible for delivering the CEO and board strategy and managing the team that operates the largest network of private Recycling Stations in Latin America.In addition to his work in the private and nonprofit sectors, Julio has also served as a Special Advisor on Housing to the Youth Advisory Board at UN-Habitat. He was elected to this role by young people from around the world. He is also a 2015 fellow of the Ford Motor Company fellowship.
