Software Development using Java to develop a Robot Process required by LATAM Chile to plan its International Flights. • I worked in LAN Airlines developing the “Robot PILA”. I was in charge of creating a daemon using among others Scrip Shell, Plain Java, MyBatis, Oracle SQL and a lot of Regular Expressions. The main objective of the project was that the Client feed the Robot with a Big Data File and the Robot had to parse the file using MyBatis to find any grammar error and map the POJOS. Once that was done, it had to apply the business logic to find all the flights logic that allow the customer to find a flight, to know the schedule, the cancelled ones, and so one. It was a very interesting project that took me, and the team, eight months to achieve. We had an excellent recognition by the Client and it was a happy success.

I was required to use Struts and that made things a little bit challenging. We were building the new “Electronic Billing Software” so I, and my team, had to use a lot of Patterns Design to give born to a brand new solution. The company had a lot of code written without any pattern design in mind so I was hired to structure code and to make maintenance easier.

Developed software using FileNet by IBM integrating Java applications for BCI and Corpbanca banks. • In this opportunity I had to go beyong the Java API. I was required to learn in a record period of time how to use FileNet by IBM. That was an excellent experience, and I had to learn to use the Java API to support the Content Management System processes of CorpBanca and BCI banks.

Developed and implemented informatics solutions locally and on the web supported by SQL Server. • I was hired to develop a Biometric System. It was a nice experience, I had to control Hardware using Java. The system controlled a regular web cam, a keyboard, and a dactilar reader.
