• Conducts industry study, sector analysis, and surveys • Conducts economic studies and analysis of macroeconomic policies to guide the Chamber’s policy dialogue and advocacy • Develops, plans, implements, and monitors advocacy strategy and activities for the Chamber• Prepares position papers on government policies and other related issues, memorandum, and presentations for the Chamber• Conducts market, competitive, and business intelligence research for both the Chamber and clients. • Undertakes periodic review of the Ghanaian and world economy and outlook• Gathers and maintains trade and investment information (e.g., GNCCI Trade Alert)• Develop concept notes for the design and organisation of policy dialogues and fora• Prepares project proposals for the Chamber and member firms as well as special projectsCoordinator; African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) Trade Resource Centre, Ghana • Responsible for engaging the private sector for regional and global trade assistance • Organises capacity building programmes towards utilisation of the AGOA trade initiative• Monitors and evaluates performance of companies in utilising the AGOA trade initiative• Provides business consultancy services in the areas of trade intelligence, export development, business promotion, and trade facilitation• Works with the West Africa Trade & Investment Hub towards improving West Africa’s international private sector competitiveness in targeted value chains other than extractive industriesProject Coordinator, MSME Digital Skills Training Project (Expertise France & GNCCI)• Verify that the Project is implemented in compliance with the Contract and shall effectively coordinate with all Partners in the context of said implementation• Responsible for forwarding all documents and information required under the Contract, notably in relation to narrative reports and payment demands • Track and monitor programmes activities with focus on key learnings and challenges
