System Solution Consultant / Interface Engineer
• Maintain effective communications between System Solution Consultants, Technical Support, Implementation Project Managers, Network Specialists, Sales Force, 3rd party Data Management and LIS vendors and customers LIS Managers and IT groups• Plan, participate and conduct sales consultation conference calls as required to facilitate the sales process of the i-STAT System related to system solutions and data management• Facilitate troubleshooting of customer’s data management system by bringing together the responsible technical authorities (Point of Care and LIS Managers) and assuring that reasonable solutions and timelines are set and pursued to resolve Interface and LIS issues• Onsite evaluation of customer wireless networks for use with the I-STAT1 Wireless Blood Analyzer in relation to moving data to customer Laboratory Information Systems.• Onsite implementation and support of the i-STAT1 Wireless Blood Analyzer with LIS• Provide in-house training on data management and connectivity to Sales and Technical Support in relation to various Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).• Provide support for data management related inquiries from Sales representatives, Implementation Project Managers, Network Specialists and customer LIS Managers• Provide continued support and maintenance (modifications, additions, connectivity) for APOC Interface (Scripted and HL7) to customer Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).• Provide continued support for Abbott Point of Care Interfaces to i-STAT Technical Support Group, Implementation Project Managers, Network Specialists, Sales Force and Abbott Point of Care customers such as Point of Care and LIS Managers• Area of responsibility: Northeast, Mid Atlantic, Great Lakes
