Work as Sr. DB analyst to provide database service for CMDB development team. The responsibilities include: • Designing, creating or modifying existing tables, indexes, triggers and constraints in Oracle databases (11g) for our CMDB (Configuration Management Database) system.• Work on design and development of large volume of data processing, this includes creating or modifying MS SSIS packages and scheduling the jobs to do ETL work to load large volume of data from different sources (Oracle, SQL server DB, MySQL or Excel files) into our Oracle database, or to copy production data to our data mart database.• Creating or modifying PLSQL packages, procedures and views to integrate data from different sources into our data system in Oracle database, adding code to handle different exceptions so the process would not fail in the middle. With my work, the system is stable and takes less time to run.• Writing code to monitor our data quality, checking when the data is loaded, how many records are loaded, and the program would send out alert email if the data has issues. So we always know how our data is.• Analyzing and fixing all kinds of data issues with SQL or PLSQL/T-SQL scripts, writing queries to create different reports.• Tuning existing queries to improve performance, for example, reducing one process time from taking 80 more minutes to 20 minutes.

Work as Sr. DB analyst in DBA team to provide Oracle database service support for development teams. The main responsibility includes the following:• Designing, creating and modifying tables and material views, adding constraints, indexes, ensuring referential integrity, data modeling and data architecture design in Oracle database system.• Writing Unix and Oracle PLSQL scripts to handle data change for application code releases (insert, update or delete large scale data), loading data from data file (using sql loader), importing/exporting data. With my work, the releases never have problem with the data or database changes.• Monitoring top SQLs in OEM, tuning queries, data recovery, solving performance issues for applications.• Writing queries to generate different reports, setting up automatic reports and writing PLSQL scripts to generate complicated reports for different clients.• Working with development teams for sound database design for new projects. • Some database administration work, like creating users, granting roles, increasing tablespace size, etc.

Designed, implemented and maintained the electronic commerce system for software distribution online (using Oracle PLSQL and Java language). The projects I involved included order taking system, customer service handling system, payment system, tax handling, shipping system and security system.
