I am a senior studying computer science at the University of California at Berkeley. I started computer science because I was enamored with the idea of creating products that others can enjoy and designing systems that can transform the way people behave. In practice, these goals have led me to join Virtual Reality at Berkeley and create a novel user experience in Landships!, a virtual reality multiplayer tank game where people can interact with a fully functional tank. In addition to exploring virtual reality, I am currently working with the Berkeley Institute of Data Science to change the way medicine and newly developed technologies interact. More specifically, my team is using convolution neural nets to identify tumors segments in MRI images. Academically, my interests have influenced my decision to take courses ranging from a software engineering, where we designed our own operating systems, to Data mining, where we explored how to analyze and present data. On a more personal note, I have recently been enamored by Blizzard's game Overwatch. In my downtime, I enjoy reading books, talking with friends and introspecting about life.
