Conducting the research project: Identifying Gene Combinations that Drive Epithelial to Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) using an Inducible Cas12a Knockout Screen3. Conducting extensive research in the genes behind EMT transition 4. Curating a list of gene knockouts to create guide RNA to CRISPR-Cas12a knockouts5. Creating an inducible system with Cre-ERT2 to induce CRISPR-Cas12a genomic editing6. Attend weekly events and seminars hosted by various IICD-collaborated researchers.7. Create a presentation explaining the project to peer undergraduate researchers, mentors, and other IICD researchers.
