- Led Liberty's campaign to defend the Human Rights Act, safeguard the UK's membership of the European Convention on Human Rights, and protect the UK's human rights frameworks - successfully mobilising hundreds of organisations to defeat the Bill of Rights Bill ('Rights Removal Bill')- Led and coordinated a coalition to oppose the Public Order Bill's restrictive protest measures, resulting in significant Government concessions (removal of SDPOs without conviction and GPS monitoring)- Led and coordinated cross-sector parliamentary advocacy and public campaigning efforts against the serious violence and protest measures in the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022, securing the greatest number of Government defeats in the House of Lords since 1999 and winning the 2023 SMK National Campaigner Award for Best Coalition - Gave evidence to Module 2 of the Covid Inquiry on behalf of Liberty- As part of a campaign to encourage MPs to vote against the extension of the Coronavirus Act 2020, worked with grassroots organisations and specialist legal practitioners to draft an alternative piece of legislation, the Coronavirus (Rights and Support) Bill (or Protect Everyone Bill), which was introduced as a cross-party Private Members Bill and debated in Parliament- Developed internal policy for Liberty on civil disobedience, free expression, and automated decision-making through submissions to our Policy Council - Led policy research, parliamentary advocacy, and public campaigns across the areas of protest, privacy, and free expression- Briefed stakeholders (parliamentarians, policymakers, campaigners) on Government legislation, draft evidence and speaking notes, and respond to Government consultations- Acted as Liberty spokesperson for press, radio and online media, including on BBC News and Radio, Times Radio, and in The Guardian

- Tracked the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on immigration detainees and the measures that have been taken in response to the pandemic by different states for the Covid-19 Global Immigration Detention Platform- Undertook socio-legal research and write reports on immigration detention and border regimes in East Asia - Undertook data construction tasks related to immigration detention centres in East Asia- Drafted submissions on migration-related issues for the Universal Periodic Review of different countries - Took part in the 2019 IOM Civil Society Sharing Information Session- Attended the 100th Session of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD)

- Conducted primary interviews with child protection practitioners on the rehabilitation of migrant children who are victims of torture in Central and Southeast Europe- Produced infographics and reports on the experiences of migrant children who are victims of torture and children with disabilities in Central and Southeast Europe- Undertook mapping exercise of migrant integration projects funded by the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, IOM, and UNHCR in Europe, to assist TdH in identifying priorities for future actions- Awarded Erasmus+ grant to undertake traineeship

- Researched and analyzed debates around the right to work and detention of asylum seekers- Drafted briefing notes pertaining to the human rights situation in Hong Kong for the 2018 Universal Periodic Review- Conducted interviews with civil society organizations and labour rights activists for ‘Not Stopping Here’, a report commissioned by the British Consulate to examine transit trafficking- Translated country of origin information (English and French) for asylum claims

- Reported on 90+ politics, environment, and human rights stories for Hong Kong's only independent English-language news publication- Wrote features on the founder of the first pro-independence party, the experiences of sex workers and the work of local sex worker rights organizations, and refugee and migrant activism
