Epic provides integrated software solution for healthcare organizations. Currently more than 50% of US patients have medical records stored in Epic software. I work in the radiology module of this integrated solution. Primarily working in C#, ASP.net, javascript, and Cache.

I worked on several aspects of software defined network in wireless networks, and received a research grant from the Office of the Vice president. Mobile computing is another area that I worked where the goal was to use sensor data collected from wearable devices to make our everyday life easier. Projects include: 1) Privacy Preserving Proximity detection using Bloomfilter, 2) Heart-rate detection using built-in accelerometer in a smart-phone, 3) Indoor localization using smart-phone and WiFi access points, 4) Driver detection using smart-watch.Technologies/Tools used:Java, Android, Python, C/C++, Weka machine learning tools, Matlab, R, Open vSwitch, mininet, POX and Floodlight SDN Controller.

I worked as an Instructor for CSCE 145 : Algorithmic Design I from Fall 2013, and as an instructor for the Fresher's course CSCE 101: Introduction to Computer Concepts. For both courses, I was entrusted with full responsibilities for my class, including creating detailed plans, audio-visual presentations, question setup and other study materials. Received very good evaluation from students in each semester (87% students rated 4.2 / 5 in Spring, 2014). Also the graduate school invited me to speak in TA workshop in August, 2014.

I spent most of my time in the development of VelaCore ERP solution. I participated in the requirement collection and analysis, design and development of Inventory and Warehouse, Marketing and Commercial module. At that time VelaCore was being used by one ISP operator, and one Textile company in Bangladesh. The major challenge was to identify the common nature of two different type of business, and design and implement the module.I also developed the report module of this ERP software using Jasper Report and Dynamic Jasper Report. I also worked on developing an e-commerce site using Magento e-commerce framework. I integrated the Inventory and Warehouse module of VelaCore with this e-commerce site, so that existing users of the ERP software can use the ERP database.I also spent some time in a CDR (Call Detail Record) to RADIUS conversion program, written in C++. This conversion software is being used by a local PSTN phone company, for their post-paid billing.Technologies Used:J2EE, MySQL, Hibernate, Glassfish Application Server, Jasper Report, C/C++.

I worked in a J2ME based social networking application called GRIDLite. I worked in the map client of this application. Features of this client includes showing current location, showing nearby friends on map, showing last known positions, directions to an address etc. Before this project, I worked on a project called iComp, which was designed to create J2ME forms and views based on specifications provided in a XML file.Technologies Used: J2ME.
