Managing the Technical Services Department (a team of multidiscipline engineers) of Combined Cycle Power Plant. Providing engineering expertise in the design, application, operation, inspection and maintenance of rotating equipment, pressure piping and vessels. Performing project management of plant betterment projects, from design, specification and selection to installation, testing & commissioning of rotating / stationary equipment, pumps, compressor, tanks & heat exchanger etc. Developing and maintaining reliability programs for on line condition monitoring with potential risk assessment of critical equipment to minimize downtime or unexpected forced outage, using latest on line monitoring and predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermal scans, process control limits with excursion information. Basis on equipment condition / histories and costs providing input to production and maintenance annual plans, budgets as well as to capital replacement and upgrade projects in order to attain required future availability and reliability levels. Investigating Operation / Maintenance related problems and suggesting viable alternatives to plant equipment or procedures modifications to assure plant safety, efficiency and environmental compliance. Monitoring plant thermal performance and suggesting viable means of improving performance. Coordinating with Maintenance / Operations for Scheduled Outages planning. Responsible for IT related operations & administration, plant information technology systems, networking & databases, internet services, licensing etc.
