I obtained my B.S. degree in clinical psychology from George Mason University. Through my college courses I have acquired knowledge on child, adolescent, and adult psychology, abnormal psychology, social psychology, statistics in psychology, regulating optimal psychological health, neuroscience, and the role of technology in the psychology field. I have worked extensively with children and adults dealing with developmental disorders and mental illness. I have 7 years of experience providing care for individuals with autism, down syndrome, bipolar disorder, psychotic depression, substance use disorder, and psychosis. I have a thorough understanding of counseling theory and skills, and life coaching skills. I have in-depth knowledge on therapeutic treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am well versed in mindfulness training, depression counseling, stress and anxiety counseling, grief and bereavement counseling, and addiction counseling.
