Worked within the Cloud Development Operations team within SAP NS2 in Herndon.The following skills learned are:- AWS Web Service usage (EC2 Instances)- Docker Image/Containerization- Creation of Ansible playbooks utilizing Jenkins Pipeline- Creation of Chef Cookbooks utilizing AWS Services

Worked in a fast-paced environment teaching up to four to eight children, rounding from primary to secondary school math education.Work includes: Grading papers and organizing binders, participating in team meetings for improvement along with making reports of new curriculum requirement

Mentored up to three different FRC teams, providing instructions on how to code using block programming techniques, hosting workshops for electrical components and introducing students to computer aided design programs like AutoCAD or Solidworks.A multi-high school competition that I was a member for years in, FRC ensures the development of both technical and leadership skills for future engineers and technicians of the STEM field. As a mentor, I learned more of the importance of logistics and budgeting aspects of engineering.

I worked for two different Baja SAE teams, doing side work in the background for GWU Baja SAE and doing management and logistical work for a colleague in a struggling team in Northern Virginia (name withheld due to a request). Through usage of taking in workshops from the GWU Baja SAE and their abundant resources, I was able to develop programs and training for the other team to be able to complete a design and manufacturing cycle for future aspiring members.The Baja SAE is a college-level competition to build a all-terrain vehicle that holds standards within the rulebook. Such rules include important guidelines for electrical systems, engine specifications and driver safety. Work included welding safety and proper parts inspection. Most of what came was self-taught with colleagues from GWU during the time, despite time for senior and junior year was taken due to the volunteer role I took.

Being a person who passed AP Calculus and Mechanics Physics, I spent a few time of my university life teaching due to a passion for education. This was free and a community-outreach activity, but it gave insight on how to talk with junior students in a professional manner.Tasks include:- Establishing trust with students through usage of effective communication skills- Communicating with school teachers on curriculum pace and talking with parents on pacing- Coordinate with online services to maximize interaction between learning and understanding (I.E. Wileyplus services)- Expand horizons on programming, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or electrical engineering if the student's post-high school experience related to these STEM fields.Results:- Out of seven students, all passed the AP Calculus exam with 4 and 5's. This included students who struggled halfway through the semester.- Out of five students, four passed the AP Physics exam with 4's and 5's.

I was a member of team 2186, the Dogs of Steel from Westfield High School.My main role was the role of scouting, taking in information from what other teams did and converting it to data for improvement. Such roles included also talking with fundraising and doing logistical work. However, this job required being able to study and understand phrases from both electrical and chassis teams from other teams. With it also came experience of taking knowledge and putting it to practical use, which helped me out tremendously when mentoring in the SAE International.The Chantilly High School Academy was very helpful in teaching skills, from workshop machinery to basic welding. They also taught important skills from creating manufacturing time tables to maintaining a Lean manufacturing workspace through safety and communicationThe FRC is a non-profit organization that brings high schools to create robots to compete every year. The games that the robots are put through are different, from frisbee tossing, ball throwing to hanging on a monkey bar. From the vast rule-set, a environment of self-learning and development is profound with its open-arms community. The drive to motivate younger students to become science and technology leaders or innovators through mentorship and teamwork is what makes FIRST Robotics grow in numbers year after year.
