FDC Optical Flow- Utilizing a deep learning approach adapted from RAFT to achieve optical flow using flux instead of intensity like classical approaches- Each pixel contains subexposure and subframe information, which can be leveraged to find the flux of the system.T6-Epipolar Project- Worked on software and hardware setup for a specific Coded-Exposure Camera where exposure is pixel encoded with many subframes in a two-tap system.- Bolstered efficiency of fundamental matrix generation of T6 camera for epipolar imaging through automated script involving 40 test images. A similar script was created for chessboard calibration in OpenCV.- Generated banded mask pattern to be used within subframes to allow more precise light exposure control, enabling epipolar imaging purpose of filtering out indirect and directly lit light.- Conducted synchronization between raster scanning projector and T6 camera using custom FPGA signal generation, which can enable random row access exposure- Implemented Huffman Encoding, Run Length Encoding, and Wavelet Transform for lossless compression.

Participant of LINHAC hockey analytics competition and conference. Team won finalist in this event and presented at Linköping University in Sweden. Primarily focused on data visualization.

Worked on training inverse convolutional neural networks for parametric estimation of Perovskite Solar Cells (PSCs) based on optical simulations of external quantum efficiency.The final optimized network could predict layer thicknesses of PSCs at high accuracy of less than 2nm for selected layers. Conducted a literature review on opaque and transparent PSCs. Composed a report reporting existing methods and my deep learning methods.

Worked as brand ambassador for MetroVancouver and Translink. Helped promote brand awareness of these two organizations among the public, responded to guests' questions, and shed a positive light on the campaigns of the two organizations.

Co-founded the club and increased membership to 50+. Coordinated meetings and logistics. Discussed with co-founder and assigned tasks to executives. Planned lessons and projects. Organize coding contests within our school and community to boost engagement.

Assisted with preparation and planning for the 3rd CYS badminton tournament, which had 500+ attendees. Devised fundraising and logistics for the event, such as concessions items. Gathered equipment, helped with fundraising, and did last-minute corrections to make the event organized and successful. Manage the financial account of CYS. Bookkeep. Devise budget for events.

Lead a platoon during parades. Ensure that the drill, dress, and deportment of the platoon are up to standard. Follow the chain of command and be responsible to the Company Sergeant Major. Provide weekly lessons and field training on various topics such as leadership, learner’s needs, class management, navigation skills, army skills etc. Boost cadets’ morale and discipline to enable them for future leadership.
