The following are significant activities and experiences that cover the breadth of my 30-year employment history in providing statistical services in various Federal Government departments and agencies.I have managed a series of research initiatives that encompassed project development, coordination, analysis, policy development and presentation of reports on a variety of tax policy initiatives.I have piloted and participate in multidisciplinary projects that explore macro administrative issues with the help of evidence-based policy tools such as statistical and mathematical models, management science, operations research, longitudinal descriptive statistics and other specialized analytical methods and techniques. I have initiated and streamlined the development and maintenance of large-scale statistical systems and databases. These data repositories provide information which is used to establish a basis for subject-matter knowledge and to explain high profiled public policy issues and decisions.I have managed the provision of a broad program of statistical services and information to various users. The information is used to support policy research and analysis in the areas of Canadian tax policies and legislative and administrative changes.I have managed a staff of up to 14 professional, technical, and support staff involved in interdisciplinary research and analysis. I have developed detailed work-plans in order to identify resource requirements and to monitor the successful completion of projects. I have prepared written briefing notes, and delivered workshops at meetings and conferences.I have participated in work groups to investigate horizontal policy initiatives.My education (completed degrees) has followed a wide range of subject matters (Mathematics and Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Theology).
