Senior Campus Operator
Current• Primary Responsibilities of this role include.• Manage team of 7 employees, overseeing hiring, training, and professional development of staff.• Ensure that all facilities are operated to the highest industry standards, including the health, safety and well-being of all occupants and guests.• Monitor and maintain all facility base-building infrastructure (hydro, water, sanitary/storm sewer, roads, walkways) as well as building envelope systems (structure, roof, etc.,) and environmental issues in accordance with all applicable code and by-law specification.• Monitor and maintain all facility/operations infrastructure (3 ) salt-water Pool (CPO), HVAC, hot water, fire and life safety systems, lighting, emergency systems/generators, elevating devices, etc.,) in accordance with industry standards and all applicable by-law and code specifications.• Develop and implement comprehensive programs for preventative maintenance, capital and leasehold improvements, and regular updating and maintenance of the Angus PM program.• Assist with the development of the annual operations budget, and manage and implement same within approved guideline.• Liaise with Security and other Departments as required.• Liaise with the Health & Safety committee, attend meetings, etc.• Proficiently manage various building operations systems, including (but not limited to) BAS (i.e.: Johnson Controls, etc.)• Manage third-party suppliers and contractors• Exceeded goals through effective task prioritization and great work ethic.• Received and processed stock into inventory management system.• Saved $5 million by implementing cost-saving initiatives that addressed long-standing problems.• Actively listened to customers, handled concerns quickly and escalated major issues to supervisor.• Monitored all company inventory to ensure stock levels and databases were updated.• Created spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel for daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
