Jun Ji was born in Qingdao, Shandong province, P. R. China, in June 1982. He got Ph.D from Zhejiang University in pattern recognition and smart system at March 2014. Before that he was a translational medicine majored joint training Ph.D student of Stanford University supported by China Scholarship Council and a senior engineer of HBI Solutions Inc during June 2011 to August 2014. Has interned in IBM China Research Laboratory, Research Laboratory of MESNAC Co., Ltd. and Netease.com Inc. Research Institute, he has a strong engineering back ground with experience in the design and implementation of lots of software applications by using the technical skills such as Hadoop/R/Java/C++/Objective C/PHP/Perl/Python/.net/Matlab language and corresponding frameworks.His research interest mainly focused on data mining, machine learning and translational medicine. He is good at both algorithms design and their applications in specific domains such as medicare and industrial controls, and it really does that he want to integrate his research works intothe applications to make the innovations feasible and useful.Currently he is the Founder & CEO of Beijing Wanling Pangu Tech. LLC, which is a start up company mainly focus to deliver AI based online & offline services for mental healthcare of China.
